Food Lifeline's mission is to end hunger in Western Washington by providing food assistance to those in need and addressing the root causes of hunger. They focus on feeding people today through food distribution and innovative programs, while also working toward long-term solutions by tackling issues like poverty, social injustice, and racial inequity. SAFe Rescue takes in homeless cats and kittens, gives them the care they need to recover, and finds them loving homes. 2,000 felines, including seniors and special needs cats, find homes at SAFe during a typical year as people in search of new friends visit the welcoming storefront Adoption Center. An extensive network of community volunteers and foster families helps the rescue carry out its mission and save more lives. Hannah adopted her sweet cat, Meeko, from SAFe!

Mary's Place is dedicated to providing shelter and support to women and families experiencing homelessness in Seattle and King County. Their mission is to ensure that no child sleeps outside by offering a safe place to stay, along with critical resources like meals, hygiene services, and housing support. By focusing on the well-being of women and children, Mary's Place works toward creating stability, promoting equity, and helping families transition to permanent housing. Their programs also include outreach, eviction prevention, and community-based services that address immediate and long-term needs.
